Some can chase home or yard toys for as long as you can keep, while many others can do nothing more than a day lounge on your lap, happy to know that they are the precious jewel of your home. They are dependent on human companionship and if they feel they are being neglected, they will tell you. Their fur is smooth or semi-long. The longhair type has a delicate ruff on the neck and a distinct feather on the hands, tail, and ears.
